Joblink Plus is dedicated to working together to build strong sustainable relationships. Relationships developed through a comprehensive approach, characterised by deep listening and a commitment to cultural competence.
Our hope is that when people connect with Joblink Plus they feel a sense of belonging and unity. Through our trauma informed practices we hope they experience dignity and respect while engaging in education and employment opportunities.
Collaborations are ethically aligned to our purpose across our footprint, creating partnerships to fully value all people. When working on the Joblink Plus Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, it was important to the working group to represent Joblink Plus truthfully and show the organisations genuine commitment to reconciliation.
We felt it was essential for the RAP to be a document that everyone who works for Joblink Plus would understand and be proud to talk about. We worked in consultation, always thinking about the whole organisation. Mindful of the people and communities we work with. The three lenses of Trauma Informed Practice, Ethical Decision Making, and Reconciliation were always considered.
The RAP working group had members of staff from as many locations and diversity of roles within the organisation as possible. This aligned with our desire to make the RAP as culturally inclusive as we could.
Joblink Plus received formal endorsement from Reconciliation Australia, this acknowledges the innovative approach and the actions we are undertaking to demonstrate our commitment to reconciliation and Closing the Gap in the communities we work with.
